Sartell Police Offer To Inspect Homes [AUDIO]

SARTELL — Think your home is safe?

The Sartell Police department is offering a new program that will inspect your home, apartment or business to make sure it’s secure from thefts or burglaries.

Sartell Police Chief Jim Hughes says the goal of these premise survey’s is to provide ways to improve security and safety.

Each officer has a list of things they look for such as crimes in the area, when the home is unoccupied, garage doors and much more.

Chief Hughes says all the officers are trained for this and are flexible to come survey your home at anytime of the day.

The premise survey is free for anyone who would like it and can sign up to have a survey done by calling the Sartell police department.
