Sartell Man Charged With Tax Evasion

ST. PAUL -- The owner of a trailer sales company in St. Cloud has been charged with several felony-level tax-related crimes.

In a news release, the Minnesota Department of Revenue says Mark John Mimbach has been charged with five counts of failing to pay income tax, five counts of failing to file income tax returns and one count of failing to remit sales taxes.

According to the Department of Revenue, Mimbach knowingly failed to file income tax returns or pay income taxes from 2009 through 2013. The complaint alleges Mimbach owes more than $340,000 in taxes, penalties and interest.

He is also accused of failing to submit nearly $6,000 in sales tax revenues from sales at MJ Mimbach Trailer Sales.
