Sartell Looking Into Adding Skatepark Equipmement At City Park

SARTELL -- The Sartell Park Commission will come back with a recommendation in June on what possibilities there may be to add skatepark equipment at one of the city's parks.

City Administrator Patti Gartland says staff was looking for specific direction from the city council on items like...a budget, input from users and what type of facility they would want to create and a location.

Gartland says if the city moves forward on the idea, it would have a budget of $30,000.

She says they will also gather input from skateboarders, installers and operators of other skatepark facilities.
