Russel “Russ” J. Solorz, 49, St. Cloud

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at St. Marcus Catholic Church, Clear Lake for Russel “Russ” J. Solorz, age 49, who passed away Sunday at his home. Rev. Virgil Helmin will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services Wednesday at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Clear Lake.

Russ was born Dec. 13, 1964 in St. Cloud to Lloyd & Doreen (Thomalla) Solorz. He graduated from St. Cloud Tech High School in 1983. Russ enjoyed barbecuing, fishing, hunting, the outdoors and cold weather. He was an outgoing, happy-go-lucky, fun-loving, kind-hearted, caring person who had a great sense of humor and loved to make everyone laugh.

Survivors include his son, Jesse of Clear Lake; parents, Lloyd & Doreen of Clear Lake; partner, Sue Watson of St. Cloud; and siblings, Becky (Bill) Holker of Clear Lake, Cindy (George) Saldana of Wisconsin, Randy of St. Cloud, and Kim Danell of St. Cloud. Russ was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Solorz; and his grandparents.
