Rox Hold Off Rally, Defeat Express 5-4

EAU CLAIRE, WI — Despite an 8th inning rally, the St. Cloud Rox were able to hold off the Express last night (Friday) 5-4.

Mitchell Kranson and Eric Loxtercamp provided the fire power for the team, as each finished the night with a pair of hits.

Starting pitcher Tim Faix had a nice night on the mound, allowing one run on four hits in five innings.

The win now moves the Rox to an overall record of 31-26. They are now just a half game behind the MoonDogs and Bucks.

Willmar, Mankato and Waterloo all recorded losses last night.

St. Cloud now returns home for a two-game series with the Duluth Huskies starting tonight (Saturday) at 6:05 p.m.
