Robert “Bob” Trasport, 72, Sartell and formerly of South Carolina and California

Memorial services will be at a later date for Robert “Bob” Trasport, age 72, of Sartell and formerly of South Carolina and California, who died Friday at his home in Sartell after a long illness.

Bob was born February 18, 1945 in Rochester, PA to Anthony, Sr. & Annina “Lena” (Tortorete) Trasport. He married Sandee Goodwine on April 29, 1978 at St. Simon and Jude Catholic Church in Huntington Beach, CA. Bob was a Certified Dental Technician, retiring in 2002 due to health reasons. He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Church in Sartell and was past Vice President of Italian Catholic Federation at St. Norbert’s Catholic Church in Orange, CA. Bob loved his family, especially spending time with his grandchildren. He enjoyed golfing, bowling and visiting with people. Bob had a fantastic personality and a wonderful sense of humor! He was a loving, kind, compassionate, good man with a heart of gold.

Survivors include his wife, Sandee of Sartell; children, Annina Trasport of Warrior, AL; Brittianee (Marvin) Neu of Sartell; Chason Trasport (Jennifer) of Germantown, MD and his grandchildren, Nicholas, Lilah, Callie and Madden, nieces and nephew and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Mason; brother, Anthony, Jr. and an infant sister, Serphina.
