CHASKA (AP) — Authorities have increased the reward for information about an attack last month that left a 90-year-old rural Carver County man dead.

Sheriff Jim Olson said Tuesday his office has raised the reward to &7,500 for information leading to the arrest and charging of whoever killed Earl Olander.

Olander was found dead in his San Francisco Township home on April 11. His hands were bound and his house had been ransacked.

Olander lived alone and had no children or grandchildren. Olson says the investigation is a top priority, and the sheriff's office needs help from the public to solve the case.

Anyone with any information is asked to call the Carver County Sheriff's Office or use the tip form on the sheriff's office website.
