BELGRADE -- One person was hurt in a two vehicle crash early this (Saturday) morning.

The State Patrol says the incident happened just before 12:30 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 55 and Highway 71 in Stearns County.

55-year-old Timothy Hanson, of Sunburg, was following a semi northbound on Highway 71 south of Belgrade, when the semi started to slow down, causing Hanson to rear-end the truck.

55-year-old James Becker, of Long Praire, was the driver of the semi. He was not hurt.

Hanson was not hurt in the crash, but his passenger, 54-year-old Katherine Hanson suffered non-life threatening injuries.
