ST. CLOUD - St. Cloud is working on putting together a community task force to discuss rental properties. The city council began working out the framework of the task force during their work study session this (Monday) evening.

The task force will be similar to the ones done in 2006 and again in 2008.

Council President Jeff Goerger says it's important to have a variety of people participate.

It's likely the task force will begin meeting next month, but no time frame has been set for coming up with some recommendations.

Several people have already contacted city hall and asked to be a part of the task force. Anyone else that's interested can still call city hall.

During last week's regular city council meeting, the council opted to form a task force to look at rental properties in the city, instead of imposing a temporary moratorium.
