Power Outage Still Impacting Thousands

UNDATED - Thousands are still without power this (Saturday) morning, after last night's storm.

Xcel Energy spokeswoman Mary Sandok says they have over 12,000 customers without power stretching from the St. Cloud area down through southwest Minnesota.

She says crews are working as fast as they can to restore power to all of their customers.

East Central Energy is also continuing to restore power, after last (Friday) night's storm.  The hardest hit areas for them were Cambridge, Pine City and east of Hinckley.  As of Saturday morning, about 8,900 members are still without power.
