Police: Roseville Man Shot Following Standoff
ROSEVILLE (AP) - A Roseville man is shot by police after barricading himself in his house.
Police say officers tried serving an arrest warrant Thursday afternoon at the man's home. Roseville Police Chief Rick Mathwig says SWAT officers surrounded the property and tried to get the man to surrender.
Four hours later, police say the man tried to escape from the house through a garage door and charged at officers. That's when he was shot.
The man was taken to Regions Hospital where he's recovering before going to jail.
