MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — A driver struck and severely injured a 39-year-old man in south Minneapolis.

Minneapolis police say Tarrince Emmanuel Winbush of Brooklyn Center was critically injured early Friday.

Police spokesman John Elder says an argument between the driver and the victim spilled outside of a bar around 2 a.m. He says the driver, whom police believe is a woman, got in a vehicle and, with apparent intent, hit the victim as she drove off.

Police found Winbush lying on the pavement. Police are still looking for the driver.

The vehicle was captured on surveillance video.
