Police Check Commercial Vehicles for Violations

ST. CLOUD - Local law enforcement agencies conducted a commercial vehicle enforcement campaign recently.

St. Cloud Police, the State Patrol, and the Sherburne County Sheriff's Department conducted the event last Thursday and Friday.

They stopped 31 commercial vehicles, resulting in 78 violations, of which 16 were cited.  Five vehicles and two drivers were taken off the road.  Some citations included: driving after cancellation, unsafe equipment, and driving with the wrong commercial license.
