Phyllis A. Dreher, 83, Sartell

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 5, 2016 at First United Methodist Church, St. Cloud Region in Sartell for Phyllis A. Dreher, age 83, of Sartell who died Wednesday at Country Manor Health Care and Retirement Center in Sartell. Rev. Leah Rosso will officiate and burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Sartell. Family and friends may call from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Sauk Rapids and one hour prior to the services on Saturday at the church in Sartell.
Phyllis was born December 31, 1932 in Great Bend, KS to Anton & Dorothy (Grubb) Zelenka. She married Virgil Dreher on August 10, 1952 at Grace Evangelical Reform Church, Seward, KS. Phyllis was a homemaker and also worked as a Secretary for an Insurance Company as well as being a child care provider. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, St. Cloud Region where she and Virgil were instrumental in building the new church in Sartell. Phyllis enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, visiting with people, cooking, sewing, gardening, antiquing, playing cards and scrabble. She was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels, Campfire Girls and 4-H. Phyllis also donated to the Salvation Army and The American Cancer Society. She donated her time to the United Methodist Church in Willmar and the United Methodist Church in St. Charles, MO.
Survivors include her husband, Virgil of Sartell; children, Kala (Roger) Haller of Sauk Rapids, Brian (Stacy Simek-Dreher) Dreher of Sherman, IL, Barbara (Rick) Ianniallo of Mason, OH; grandchildren, Kyle, Chad, Matthew, Chelsea, Angela and Isaiah; great grandchildren, Meridy and Knox. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, John “Jack” Zelenka.
