Love is kinda crazy with a spooky little girl like this one! The Atlanta Rhythm Section may not have had a cat in mind with that lyric, but you’d be kinda crazy not to give this kitty a chance for love! Spooky is spayed and almost 2 years old. She was surrendered because her owner could no longer afford to keep her. Spooky’s favorite toys include a laser pointer and a string on a stick. She has a great mix of independence and affection. Spooky is not thrilled about being in the same room with a dog, but she cohabited easily with another cat in the past. She also got along well with older children. Spooky has been patiently waiting since August to find a new home. Since she is over 6 months old, she qualifies for our “Name Your Own Price” cat sale.

Poppy is a fawn colored Chihuahua who is two and a half years old and neutered. This compact-sized companion has been friendly (and playful!) with other dogs, cats, and kids in the past. Poppy was surrendered because the previous owner had a very busy home and did not have the time to completely house-train him. With patient people, a quieter home and education from our eager-to-help shelter staff, Poppy will have all the tools needed to conquer any house-training issues. If you have time for guidance and a lonely lap, consider adopting this loving little dog!
