MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - A man convicted of dousing Pedal Pub riders in Minneapolis with a squirt gun and water balloons has pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct.

John Rock was one of five people charged, but the only convicted in the May ambush on the rolling pub patrons, who just happened to be off-duty police officers. The 25-year-old Shakopee man was the only one whose photo was captured by the Pedal Pub driver.

Prosecutors said the case against Rock went forward because of the "direct evidence" against him. Rock says "it was a dumb mistake intended for fun, and the rest of the world thought otherwise."

Rock has been fined $300, ordered to pay about $400 in restitution and given one year of probation.
