This week in our 58th installment of our "Frozen In Time" series we caught a movie under the stars in Litchfield. Starlite Drive-In opened in the 1950s. At the time it was one of nearly 100 outdoor theaters in Minnesota. The theater closed down in the 1970s.
The Salvation Army in St. Cloud is celebrating their 77th annual Donut Day on Friday. It's a tradition that started during the Great Depression to raise money for the nonprofit and to honor women who made donuts for soldiers during World War I.
Friday nights during Lent at St. Anthony Church in St. Cloud have become synonymous with fish fries. The church started hosting the Friday night fundraiser in 2007 as a way to pay off the church's debt.
