UPDATE: New Hope City Hall Gunman Clashed with Authorities

Authorities say two police officers are out of the hospital after being wounded in a confrontation outside a suburban Minneapolis City Council meeting that ended with the suspect being killed. The Hennepin County sheriff's office identifies the officers as Joshua Eernisse and Beau Schoenhard.

Dayton Discusses Funding for the U of M and MnSCU

Governor Mark Dayton says he won't discuss extra spending on MnSCU until it works out an internal dispute. He did touch on funding for the University of Minnesota, proposing $62.6 million in extra spending over the next two years.
