ELROSA -- One person is hurt after a two vehicle crash in Elrosa this (Friday) morning.

The incident happened at about 7:45 a.m. at the intersection of 1st Avenue and Robert Street.

The Stearns County Sheriffs Office says 79-year-old Valeria Gerding, of Elrosa, was heading south on Robert Street and was attempting to cross 1st Avenue.

Gerding was pulling into the intersection when she was hit by another vehicle heading East on 1st Avenue.

55-year-old Michael Holden, of Spicer, was the driver of the second vehicle. He did not have a stop sign at the intersection, and was not hurt in the crash.

Gerding was treated at the scene for her injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
