Olympian, St. Cloud Native Alise Post to Visit Hometown

ST. CLOUD – Hometown girl turned Olympian Alise Post is making a return to St. Cloud this weekend.

It will be her first trip home since the Olympic Games, and Pineview Park BMX track will be hosting a meet and greet Post and her boyfriend, BMX Olympic silver medalist Sam Willoughby.

The two be signing autographs and taking pictures with fans at the park  on Saturday around 1:30 p.m.

Mayor Dave Kleis will also be on hand to proclaim it “Alise Post Day.”

Then, on Sunday, Post and Pineview Park BMX will be lending their support to a good cause. They’re holding a bike race with a goal of raising $10,000 to fight Multiple Sclerosis.

In addition to the race, they’re raising money through silent and online auctions of Olympic and pro BMX gear. To see what they’re auctioning,  check out their website.
