“No Animal Left Undone” Gives Humane Society A New Challenge
The Tri-County Humane Society is launching its biggest fundraising campaign ever. Their budget is expected to increase from about $742,000 in 2009 to $874,000 in 2011, and they want to raise $275,000 by the end of 2011 to cover the costs of the "No Pet Left Undone" spay-and-neuter effort.
Animal overpopulation has become a major issue, and Executive Director Vicki Davis says that donations from individuals are crucial to the success of the project.
