News @ Noon: Avon Woman Hosting TV Show About Minnesota

UNDATED - A new TV show promoting everything Minnesota has to offer premieres this weekend, and the host is a Stearns County woman. Jennifer Mergen is from the Avon/Farming area. She hosts "The Minnesota Traveler", which will debut this Sunday on Fox Sports North.

Mergen says one of the episodes will feature the Little Falls area.

The nearest location we are featuring is Little Falls. We visited Little Falls a few weeks ago, and had just a blast. There's so many cool things to do in Little Falls. Obviously I grew up close to Little Falls and I didn't really know there was that much to do in Little Falls. It's a charming wonderful community.

Mergen says the debut episode on Sunday is highlighting the Eagan area.

The show will air at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday on Fox Sports North.
