ST. CLOUD -- A recent necropsy report say the yellow lab who was shot six times by a pellet gun in February suffered from recurrent seizures.

According to the results, findings showed secondary damage to the brain and lungs which was most likely sustained due to recurrent seizures.

Medical officials say Remington likely had cryptogenic or idiopathic epilepsy. It is also possible he had post traumatic epilepsy.

The Tri-County Humane society helped nurse Remington back to health after he was shot four times in the face and twice in the hind quarters.

Remington died at the University of Minnesota Veterinary Medical Clinic back in April.
