Nearly 350 Bank Associates Participate in Day of Volunteer Work for Salvation Army and YMCA [AUDIO]

ST. CLOUD – A pair of large area nonprofits are getting major facelifts today, thanks to the collaboration of volunteers from ING Direct.
It’s their 5th annual “Orange Days of Giving” event. ING’s Direct’s Head of Customer Operations Shelly Doll says folks who normally spend the 9 to 5 workday in banking will instead be swinging hammers, landscaping, painting walls and more at the St. Cloud Salvation Army and the YMCA.

Doll is the chair of the event. She says ING Direct chooses which organization to serve during the spring. The mission is to make the greatest amount of impact in a single day, so they choose projects carefully.
