Motorcycle Struck By SUV in North St. Cloud

ST. CLOUD - A St. Cloud man was hurt when the motorcycle he was driving collided with an SUV. St. Cloud police say the incident happened at about 6:20 p.m. last (Wednesday) night in the 2700 block of 3rd Street North.

An SUV being driven by 35-year-old Christina Villneauve of St. Augusta was westbound. As she entered the intersection of 28th Avenue, she turned on her right turn signal and began to move over to the right. A motorcycle driven by 21-year-old Brandon Thompson of St. Cloud was behind the SUV and was attempting to go past it through the intersection. At that time Villneauve attempted to make a left turn, instead of a right turn, and struck the motorcycle.

Thompson was taken to St. Cloud Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Villneauve was given a ticket for improper change of course.
