ST. CLOUD -- A Monticello man has pleaded guilty to one count of possessing child pornography after he left a flash drive containing the images at the St. Cloud Public Library.

The Stearns County Attorney's Office says 41-year-old Andy Curtis pleaded guilty to one of four felony counts Thursday. Three other similar counts were dismissed.

Curtis will serve 60 days in jail and 30 days home arrest when he's sentenced November 30th. The Attorney's Office says state guidelines don't call for a lengthy prison sentence, even if Curtis would have been convicted on all four counts.

According to the criminal complaint, a library supervisor called police last November after finding the images while cleaning information from the flash drive from the lost and found bin. The drive was found to contain over 500 images and 35 videos with naked male children engaging in sexual activity.

Authorities were able to track down Curtis as the suspect because the flash drive also contained Curtis' resume, and a naked picture of him.
