ST. CLOUD -- Three periods wasn't enough to get the job done but late game heroics gave St. John's University the 3-2 win in overtime against Hamline this afternoon (Saturday).

Zach Knight got the first goal for the Johnnies, assisted by Neal Smith and Nick Senta.

In the third Hamline was able to rally from a 2-0 deficit thanks to a Kevin Novakovich goal to force overtime.

Then the Johnnies Nate Mondry's gets the goal at 1:49 in OT to secure the 3-2 win over the Pipers.

St. John's is 13 - 8 overall and 7 - 5 in the MIAC. They will have a home and home stand next week against Bethel University. Drop of the puck is 7:00 p.m. Feb 14th in St. Cloud.
