MnDOT Holds Long-Term Vision Workshop Monday

ST. CLOUD -- The Minnesota Department of Transportation wants to hear from you. They are inviting everyone to an interactive public workshop Monday at the Atwood Conference Center at St. Cloud State University.

MnDOT has developed "Minnesota Go" -- a new initiative to shape a long-term transportation vision for the state of Minnesota.

MnDOT will use your thoughts and ideas to better align their planning efforts with expectations of the community. A 31-member steering committee will then use the feedback from community workshops across the state to develop a 50-year transportation vision statement. A public hearing on that proposed vision will then be held in July.

There is no pre-registration required for Monday's meeting, but you are asked to attend the entire workshop from 6:30-to-8:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.
