MnDOT Advises You to Plan Ahead for Fishing Opener Travel

UNDATED — The Minnesota Department of Transportation is reminding you to prepare for heavy traffic and slowdowns if you’re heading out to the fishing opener this weekend.

MnDOT officials say it’s important to pay attention, use extra caution, especially in work zones and be prepared for slower moving traffic.

One project impacting central Minnesota travelers is the I-94 project between St. Augusta and Clearwater.

Officials say plan ahead, think about alternate routes and call 511 or visit the website, www.511mn.org.
