ST. PAUL (AP) — Charges say a man called 911 for help before his girlfriend ran him down with her car and killed him in St. Paul.

Fifty-year-old Mark Urang of St. Paul said he'd been hit by a vehicle and was fighting with the suspects. He named the driver as Arlene Miller, who police say is his girlfriend, and described the vehicle as a Mercury Sable.

Police found Urang with a severe head injury in the middle of the road on Wednesday and he died Thursday.

The Ramsey County attorney's office charged 53-year-old Arlene Priscilla Garcia, who also uses the last name Miller, with two counts of criminal vehicular homicide. She remained in jail Friday night.
