DETROIT LAKES (AP) - A western Minnesota man is suspected of opening fire after arguing with two men, killing one and wounding the other.

The 38-year-old man was arrested Saturday at his home in Detroit Lakes. The Becker County prosecutor didn't immediately return a message Monday asking for an update on possible charges.

The three men were arguing at a home Saturday about 1 a.m. when the suspect was asked to leave. Authorities say he retrieved a .22-caliber handgun from his vehicle, returned to the home and shot the two victims.

Twenty-three-year-old Travis Dwayne Buckanaga died at a hospital. Twenty-six-year-old Barris Duane Guy was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Both men are from Detroit Lakes.

Authorities haven't said what the men were arguing about.
