Minneapolis School District Identifies Children Fatally Shot
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - A school district has identified the two children who died in a domestic shooting in Minneapolis and the mother who was critically wounded.
A man was also found dead at the south Minneapolis apartment Friday.
The Richfield School District says 5th-grade student Nahily Ronquillo and her brother, 8th-grader Luis Ronquillo, were fatally shot. A statement from the superintendent and school board chairman says their mother, Maria Romero, was wounded. The statement says she's a former school district employee.
The man found dead at the home was not identified. Police have said they are not looking for suspects and that there's no public threat.
School officials say counselors, psychologists and social workers are meeting with students, staff and families Monday and in the coming days.
