FERGUS FALLS (AP) - A sheriff's deputy accused of sexually abusing several boys while volunteering as a fishing guide at a church camp in western Minnesota has pleaded not guilty to charges.

Aaron Heuer is on leave from the Mille Lacs County Sheriff's Department. He was arrested last July and later charged in Otter Tail County with four counts each of first- and second-degree criminal sexual conduct.

Prosecutors allege that Heuer had sexual contact with four boys while volunteering at the Lutheran Island Camp near Henning last summer.

Investigators said the alleged victims were from 8 to 10 years old. Heuer is due back in court March 24.
