ST. CLOUD -- The Midwest Dairy Expo is a way to celebrate the dairy industry throughout Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Iowa.

Today and tomorrow (Wednesday) you can stop by the River's Edge Convention Center and see what new things are happening in the dairy industry.

Bob Lefebrve is the Executive Director of the Minnesota Milk Producers Association. He says during the expo people can see many exhibits.

"You will have an opportunity to talk with nutritionists, we have robotic milking operations, new ways we care for our animals, and machines that can harvest a lot of feed in a short time."

There will also be an opportunity to sit in on discussions about different topics within the dairy industry.

"It's like a dairy farmers heaven when you walk into that expo," says Lefebvre.

Lefebrve says the dairy industry continues to grow and be a strong backbone within our communities.

"It's good for our economy, it's good for our enviornment and its good for our social fabric we have in Minnesota," says Lefebrve.
