Metro Bus Offers Free Summer Rides For Kids

ST. CLOUD -- St. Cloud Metro Bus is again offering free summer youth passes for kids 17 and younger. It's to help families give kids affordable transportation and get them experience using mass transit.

The passes are good seven days a week for any fixed route and has many kid-friendly destinations like the library, YMCA, bowling alleys, Skatin' Place and AirMaxx Trampoline Park.

The passes are good June 1st through August 31st.

Last year there were 2,500 passes issued and 54,000 trips taken by kids.

Passes can be picked up by a parent or guardian at the transit center. Free "how to ride" classes are available to show how to read schedules and maps. For dates, times and to register, call 320-529-4497.
