Celebration of Life will be 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at Faith Lutheran Church in Becker for Marvin J. Imholte, age 57, of Clear Lake who passed away on Saturday. Rev. Dick Wehrs will officiate and burial will be at St. Marcus Cemetery, Clear Lake. Friends and relatives may visit from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at Faith Lutheran Church and also one hour prior to services Thursday also at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Becker.

Marvin was born February 12, 1957 in St. Cloud to Alfred and Mary (Woebkenberg) Imholte. He grew up in the Clear Lake area and has continued to live there through his adult life. Marvin proudly served his country in the United States Marines. He married Yoko Saito in Japan the couple later divorced. Marvin later married Brenda Duesterhoeft on February 26, 2007 in Oahu, Hawaii. Marvin was employed with Xcel Energy for 35 years. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Becker. Marvin enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a generous man with a great sense of humor. Every day was a celebration for Marvin and he cherished time with his family. He will be dearly missed.

Survivors include his loving wife, Brenda of Clear Lake; children, Shaun (Kelly) of St. Cloud, Ryan (Amanda) of Becker, Jason (Kristin) of Palmer Township; step-children, Julie (Dan) Monroy of Rosewell GA, LeAnn LaVallee of Walker, Scott (Sarah) LaVallee of Sterling, KS, Casey LaVallee of Panama City, FL; mother, Mary of Becker; siblings, Mark of Clear Lake, Mavis Flowers of Monticello, Myron of Glenwood, Marsha Schrader of Annandale, Mitch of South Haven, Melody of Annandale, Monica Anderson of Walnut Grove; and 13 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father; infant sister, Lorraine; and infant brothers, Matthew and Martin.
