Martin C. Reberg, 81, Foley

October 8, 1933 - May 10, 2015

Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 18, 2015 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Popple Creek for Martin C. Reberg, age 81, who passed away Sunday at Quiet Oaks Hospice House in St. Augusta. Rev. Dr. Timothy J. Rehwaldt will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:30 p.m. Sunday at St. John’s Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall and one hour prior to the services Monday at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Sauk Rapids.

Martin was born Oct. 8, 1933 in Foley to Fred & Otillia (Burski) Reberg. He lived and farmed on the family farm in Foley. In 2005 he sold his farm and moved into town, where he resided until his passing. Martin was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, basketball, and baseball, especially the Minnesota Twins. Martin was an energetic, humble, giving, gentle, very kind person with a great sense of humor.

Survivors include his sisters, Elsie Marklowitz of Orlando, FL and Jeanette Gratke of Rice; and many nieces and nephews. Martin was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Lorraine Kornovich and Eunice Bartosiewski; brother, Ervin; and infant brother, Herbert.
