Margaret E. Schumann, age 95, Sauk Rapids, MN died Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home, Sauk Rapids, MN.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, St. Cloud, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday. Burial will be in Fairhaven Township Cemetery, Fairhaven, MN. Funeral arrangements were made by Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN.

Margaret was born May 24, 1919 in Fairhaven Township, Stearns County, Minnesota to Leonard and Elizabeth (Medeck) Luehmann. She married Louis H. Schumann on September 26, 1938 in Buffalo, MN. Margaret was employed by Vision Ease for 29 years, retiring in 1980. She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church.

Survivors include daughters, Yvonne (Jerry) Bardson of Albany, MN; Janice (Ken) Kenning of Sartell, MN; four grandchildren, Craig (Lori) Bardson, Sheri (Ryan) Pratt, Steve (Desi) Kenning, and Scott (Jennifer) Kenning,; and eleven great grandchildren, Ben, Matt, Kalley, Mariah, Emily, Jenna, Kyle, Tylor, Avrre, Dane and Reese

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Louis on February 9, 1993; granddaughter, Jill Bardson; and sister, Virginia Lacina.

Memorials are preferred.

Pallbearers will be grandsons.

The family would like to thank the staff of Good Shepherd Lutheran Home for the loving and compassionate care they gave to Margaret during her time with them.
