Mankato Downs Rox 8-2

The St. Cloud Rox lost 8-2 at home against Mankato Monday night.  Mankato scored 4 runs in the 3rd inning.  Andy Henkemeyer went 3-4 and Boo Vazquez hit a solo homerun for the Rox.  Nick Rau added 1 hit and 1 RBI for St. Cloud.  Alex Roberts allowed 3 walks, 1 hit and 3 earned runs in 2 innings to take the loss for St. Cloud.

The Rox will play at Waterloo at 6:35 tonight beginning a 3-game series, pregame on AM 1390-the Fan at 6:05.  Lefthander Zach Hirsch gets the start on the mound for St. Cloud.

The Rox are 6-7 in the 2nd half and are 1 1/2 games back of Mankato, Alexandria, Willmar and Duluth for first place in the 2nd half North Division standings.
