DULUTH, Minn. (AP) - Prosecutors say a Two Harbors man has pleaded guilty to fatally stabbing a Duluth landlord in his apartment.

The St. Louis County Attorney's Office says 42-year-old Raymond Weeks pleaded guilty Thursday to intentional second-degree murder.

As part of a plea deal, Weeks agreed to serve 30 years in prison, the sentence recommended under state guidelines. In exchange for his guilty plea, prosecutors won't seek a first-degree murder indictment against Weeks.

Weeks was accused of stabbing 54-year-old Duluth landlord Kevin Tyman in December 2012. Tyman died hours after a single stab wound lacerated his liver.

Weeks' co-defendant, 32-year-old Joella Lee Tucker, pleaded guilty earlier this month to aiding and abetting second-degree murder for her role in Tyman's death.

Tyman was Tucker's former landlord. Authorities alleged she persuaded Weeks to kill Tyman.
