Man Jailed for Domestic Assault

A 31-year old St. Cloud man with prior domestic assault offenses was arrested after another alleged assault early Saturday morning.

Police met with the 32-year old female victim at 33rd Avenue North and and 1st Street North about 6:30 Saturday morning after a witness reported the assault.

The victim stated she been struck several times by her boyfriend Marcus Devon Brown.

Brown was found by officers hiding under a bed in the couple’s residence in the 100 block of 33rd Avenue North. The victim had non-life threatening injuries consistent with being struck by an object.

Brown was taken to Stearns County Jail and is being held for felony domestic assault with injuries due to two prior qualifying domestic assault related offenses.
