Man Hurt While Riding His Snowmobile in Morrison County

Hillman - Rescue crews responded to a snowmobile crash in Morrison County.  The Sheriff's Office says it happened at about 10:45 a.m. this (Saturday) morning on Peavy Lake by the east access in Richardson Township, north of Hillman.

Fifty-four-year-old Richard Ringold of Onamia was driving his snowmobile on Peavy Lake when he hit an ice heave and was thrown from his machine.

He was taken to Onamia Hospital with side and shoulder pains.
