Man Fatally Shot in Downtown Minneapolis

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Minneapolis police are looking for a suspect in a fatal shooting downtown.

Authorities say an off-duty police officer working security heard gunshots about 6:30 a.m. Friday near a parking ramp and found a man who had suffered multiple gunshot wounds.

Police say the victim was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center where he died from his injuries. Investigators say it does not appear to be a random shooting.
