MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Minneapolis Police say one man is dead and another in critical condition after an early-morning shooting outside a popular bar.

The shooting happened early Sunday in front of Mortimer's, just off the intersection of Lyndale and Franklin avenues in south Minneapolis.

Authorities say that three men apparently left together as the bar was closing, and got into an argument that led to one man shooting the other two.

The shooter is still at large but police say the public is not at risk. Police are continuing to investigate.

One of the shooting victims died a short while later at Hennepin County Medical Center. The other was taken into surgery and is in critical condition. They have not been identified.
