MONTEVIDEO, Minn. (AP) - A 21-year-old man has been sentenced to more than four years in prison after admitting he strangled a 64-year-old man from western Minnesota while the two were having sex.

Harley Hatch of Montevideo was sentenced last week in Chippewa County. Hatch pleaded guilty to second-degree manslaughter in the December 2013 death of Thomas Dickson in Dickson's Montevideo apartment.

Hatch received credit for more than three months of time already served. Reports say he'll be eligible for supervised release after serving just over three years in prison.

Hatch admitted to police in January that he strangled Dickson with a leash during a sex act. According to the complaint, Hatch said Dickson's death "had been haunting him for over a year."

The two had met through a Craigslist ad.
