Lou Ann Ericson, 90, Sartell

July 19, 1926 - April 11, 2017

 
Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Living Waters Lutheran Church in Sauk Rapids for Lou Ann Ericson, age 90, who passed away Tuesday at Country Manor Health Care Center in Sartell. Rev. Todd Mattson will officiate and burial will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation will be one half hour prior to the service Saturday at the church.

Lou Ann was born July 19, 1926 in Crookston to Ole and Clara (Bruun) Dahlen. She was raised and spent most of her life in Crookston until moving to Sartell in 2004. She married William Ericson in August 28, 1948. Faith was very important to Lou Ann, she was a gracious host, always willing to entertain. Lou Ann enjoyed cooking, knitting, reading and playing bridge.

Lou Ann is survived by her children, Jan (Greg) Vandal of Sauk Rapids, Jill (David) Collins of Bloomington; grandchildren, Kate (Shawn) Petersen, Grant (Courtney) Collins, and Evan Collins; great grandchildren, Henry and Oliver Petersen. Lou Ann is preceded in death by her parents; husband, William and brothers and sisters.
