WAITE PARK -- As the NCAA basketball tournament gets underway local sports bars are preparing for an increase in business.

With multiple games going on at one time, basketball fans look to find the best spot to get their fill.

Ultimate Sports Bar and Grill owner Tom Frericks says in 28 years of business March is typically a busy time for his staff.

"It's a combination of March as a whole and what it offers the sports industry," says Frericks.

With 36 televisions playing every game, Frericks says many customers take the day off and spend it at the bar watching the tournament.

"At about 1:30 p.m.-2:00 p.m. you will start seeing people shutting it down for the day and end up here," says Frericks.

While many of you are watching your brackets closely, Frericks says he longer fills one out.

"I stopped doing that a few years ago, probably because I kept getting so many wrong right away," says Frericks.

But being a sports bar owner, and fan himself, he secretly has one team he hopes takes it all the way -- Michigan State.

The Ultimate Sports Bar and Grill is open everyday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m.
