Local Leaders Will Look to Find a Buyer for Verso Site [AUDIO]

SARTELL - The closing of the Verso Paper mill will have a big impact on the city of Sartell and the rest of the St. Cloud metro area.  But, the Greater St. Cloud Development Corporation's CEO John Kramer says the impact will also be felt in other areas around the state.

He acknowledges it's not going to be easy to find a buyer.

Kramer says, it will be difficult to bring in another paper making company, but the site does still have assets that make it attractive for other industries.

Kramer says, even though these are difficult times now, he's hopeful they can attract new businesses in growing industries that will revitalize the property.
