Local Event To Raise Funds, Hope For Area Foster Kids

SARTELL -- You can help area foster kids in need at a fundraiser this weekend at Blue Line Sports Bar and Grill in Sartell.

Pockets of Hope is holding the event Sunday evening to raise money and collect items for children in foster care. All proceeds from food and drink purchases during the event will go toward helping area foster children.

Pockets of Hope is asking for people to bring items to fill a backpack -- simple items like books, pajamas, and underwear for children of all ages. Those who bring an item will be entered into a drawing for fun prizes.

Pockets of Hope is a local non-profit organization dedicated to giving foster children a sense of worth, comfort, and hope.

The fundraiser runs from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday.
