Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12:00 PM on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud for Laura M. Pick who died Friday May 20, 2016 in Chaska. Rev. Tony Oelrich will officiate and burial will be in Assumption Cemetery, St. Cloud. Visitation will be 4 to 8 PM Wednesday May 25, 2016 at the Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, St. Cloud and also after 11:00 AM Thursday morning at the Church in St, Cloud. St. Augustine’s parish prayers will be at 4:00 PM followed by St. Augustine’s Christian Women at 4:30 PM Wednesday afternoon at the funeral home.

Laura was born in St. Cloud to the late Peter and Catherine (Bierbaum) Fettig. She married Wendelin Pick October 25, 1941 in St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Spring Hill. Prior to her marriage she was a teacher in a county school in West Union, Minnesota for two years. Laura was a member of St. Augustine’s Catholic Church, St. Cloud, life member of St. Augustine’s Christian Women, and the Legion of Mary. Laura was known as the Donut lady of St. Augustine’s, making the famous donuts for the parish breakfasts. She enjoyed sewing, jigsaw puzzles, playing scrabble, and especially cards. Laura volunteered with RSVP and at the St. Cloud Hospital.
Laura is survived by her children, John (Theresa), of Goodland, MN., Joe (Johnnie), of Sauk Rapids, Kathi Welliver (Thomas Peckham), Tucson, AZ., Mary (Charles) Mattson, Tonka Bay, MN., Michael (Karen) of Sauk Rapids, Carol (Lanny) Nachtman, Virginia, MN., Julie BonAmie, Tonka Bay, MN., and Thomas (Jolene), Mounds View, MN. ; 17 grandchildren , 19 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wendelin on December 6, 1993; sons, Stephen and James; brothers, Arthur, Gordian, Norman, and her sister Jeanette Smith.
